My daughter (four) loves Charlie and Lola. My son (two) loves Charlie and Lola. What surprised me the most was how much my husband and I have come to love Charlie and Lola. As many other reviewers have stated, this is a positive brother-sister relationship without being fakey. Charlie is an excellent brother even when frustrated with his younger sister's antics. It celebrates imagination and the beauty in every day things. The music is lovely and charming. The artwork is interesting and surprising. The episodes explore the issues that are important to children and the children's feelings are validated, never belittled. I completely and utterly recommend Charlie and Lola Season Three.

These programs are so fantastic. They are non-violent. The children are very kind, say please and thank you. They do have conflicts and are worked out in very creative ways. The Christmas episode actually says, "Baby Jesus" and they sing the song "Away in a Manger". I really appreciated that since I do believe in Jesus and celebrate his birthday as Christmas day. It's refreshing to find the true meaning recognized in a childrens show, where American's are so afraid to mention Jesus on his birthday, he's been all but removed, it's ridiculous. I am very happy with these videos, and would recommend them to any parent looking for quality programming that you do not have to worry about what your child is watching.

Lotta the loveable friend of Lola and Charlie.

Inspired by the award winning books by Lauren Child,  and the  fun-filled loveable  TV series from the BBC Lotta follows the adventures of British siblings Charlie and Lola.

Lotta lives down the road, in a little house. She is the same age as Lola, although smaller. They met on their first day at school. They have a very giggly, over excited relationship, chatting and holding hands a LOT.

They copy each other the whole time, and think they're whispering when in fact they are actually talking VERY LOUDLY indeed. Lotta is a little bit in awe of Lola and usually led by her suggestion.
She's a LOT in awe of Charlie and Marv, and Sizzles, the Dog.

My girls LOVE LOVE LOVE Charlie & Lola! We've been big fans for over four years and the children never get tired of playing with thier imported C&L dolls...finally, these are available at a great price Stateside and we took advantage of getting the Lotta doll. We got these for our almost-2-year-old for Christmas, because she loves the show and books. She loves them, and makes them talk to eachother, which is really cute! I love their hair, which is made so that it will stick up in odd directions, like in the books/show, and the attention to detail- shoelaces, different materials for the clothes, etc. I also love that they aren't very big, because she can bring them anywhere. The reasons I didn't rate this a 5: Like other reviews said, it's hard to hit the buttons and make them talk. I don't really mind this too much, though, because it means I don't have to hear them talk a million times a day, and my daughter is really proud of herself when she happens to do it. She doesn't seem to care anyway. The voices are kind of quiet, too, but, again, I don't mind, because I have stepped on a Tickle-Me Cookie Monster in the middle of the night before, and that was SO SCARY! I don't have to worry about her sleeping with these, because if she happens to push the button in her sleep (which isn't likely), it shouldn't even wake her up! All-in-all worth it for a big Charlie and Lola fan!
