My daughter (four) loves Charlie and Lola. My son (two) loves Charlie and Lola. What surprised me the most was how much my husband and I have come to love Charlie and Lola. As many other reviewers have stated, this is a positive brother-sister relationship without being fakey. Charlie is an excellent brother even when frustrated with his younger sister's antics. It celebrates imagination and the beauty in every day things. The music is lovely and charming. The artwork is interesting and surprising. The episodes explore the issues that are important to children and the children's feelings are validated, never belittled.
